STRONG Concrete Paint

Concrete eats ordinary wall paint. This one is built for floors that get walked on, driven on and hosed down.

How much you need

Plan on 150 to 300 square feet per gallon on concrete and two coats. Smooth sealed slabs go further, raw or broom finished concrete drinks more. Measure the floor, then buy for the low end.

Worth knowing

STRONG comes in Dove Gray, Charcoal Gray and Patio Red and is not tintable, so what you see is what you get. The slab has to be clean, dry and free of curing compound before you start, and 50F or warmer while you paint.

How it ships

Gallons ship anywhere in the country at the carrier rate. The 3.5 gallon pails do not. A full pail weighs about 60 pounds and parcel carriers price it like furniture, so pails are pickup at 20 Grand Ave in Brooklyn or local delivery in New York and New Jersey, $15 flat and free over $150.
