The wall paint for a room that's already been painted. The acrylic wall paint next to PRO, at a lower price because the surface under it is already sealed. Bare spots and fresh patches get PRIME first.

NEO goes straight over a wall that's already painted and sound. Bare areas and fresh repairs take PRIME first. Tell us what's on the wall and we'll say how much of each you need.
Plan the amount
Coverage is 300 to 400 sq ft per gallon per coat. Measure the wall area and allow for every coat you plan to apply.
Prep and apply
- Wash off dust, grease, chalk and mildew. Scrape loose paint. Sand glossy paint dull.
- New plaster and masonry cure 30 days first. Water stains and tannin get a stain-blocking primer.
- Synthetic brush, a 3/8 inch or thicker roller, or airless with a .015 to .019 tip at 1500 to 2000 psi. Don't thin it.
- Paint between 50F and 90F, air and surface. Outside, skip it if rain or snow is due within 48 hours.
- Light use after 24 hours. Wait four weeks before you scrub it.
Inside the can
Acrylic. Low VOC under 50 g/L. APEO free, with an anti-microbial additive. Weight: 11.2 lb per gallon.
