Terms of service

These terms apply to kompozit.io and to orders placed through it. The store is operated by PETS GROUP LOGISTICS USA INC, doing business as OD Group, at 20 Grand Ave, Suite 102, Brooklyn NY 11205. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Products and prices

Prices are shown in US dollars and do not include sales tax. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order that has already been accepted.

Product photographs and on-screen colors are a guide. A screen cannot reproduce a paint color accurately. Get a color sample and look at the real paint in your own light before you buy the paint for a room.

Availability

A product listed on the site is not a guarantee that the quantity, sheen or size you need is in stock on the day you want it. If we cannot fill an order we cancel it and refund it in full before anything is mixed.

Custom tinted paint

Paint tinted to your color is made for your order. We confirm the color with you before the machine runs. Custom tinted paint is final sale for a change of mind. Damaged, defective or incorrect orders are covered by our Refund policy.

Orders and payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy. The order is accepted when we confirm it or hand over the goods, whichever happens first. We may decline or cancel an order, including after payment, for example when a product is out of stock, a price was listed in error, or we cannot verify the payment. In that case we refund in full.

Pickup and delivery

Gallons ship anywhere in the United States at the carrier rate. Five gallon and 3.5 gallon pails do not ship. Pails are pickup at 20 Grand Ave or local delivery in New York and New Jersey. Color samples are pickup or local delivery only. Risk of loss passes to you when the goods are handed to you or to the carrier.

Use of the paint

Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the container and the technical data sheet, including surface preparation, application temperature and recoat times. We are not responsible for the result of a job where the surface was not prepared as the manufacturer requires, or where the product was used outside its stated use.

Warranty

Kompozit paint carries a 18 year limited manufacturer warranty to the original purchaser. The warranty is given by the manufacturer, not by this store, and it is not transferable. Keep your receipt and the batch code from the container. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be waived.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for labor, lost time or consequential loss.
