Get an 8 oz sample. Paint a patch, live with it a day, then order the gallons.
Paint and primer in one, so bare drywall, a fresh patch and a wall that was painted three colors ago all take the same two coats.
Plan the job
Coverage is 300 to 400 sq ft per gallon per coat. Dry to touch in about 1 hour. Recoat in 2 to 4 hours. Apply between 50F and 90F. Clean tools with soap and water.
PRO is self-priming. It doesn't replace surface prep. Tell us about bare areas, stains or peeling paint before you order.
Prep and apply
- Wash off dust, grease, chalk and mildew. Scrape loose paint. Sand glossy paint dull.
- New plaster and masonry cure 30 days first. Water stains and tannin get a stain-blocking primer.
- Synthetic brush, a 3/8 inch or thicker roller, or airless with a .015 to .019 tip at 1500 to 2000 psi. Don't thin it.
- Paint between 50F and 90F, air and surface. Outside, skip it if rain or snow is due within 48 hours.
- Light use after 24 hours. Wait four weeks before you scrub it.
Inside the can
100% acrylic. Interior and exterior. Low VOC under 50 g/L, APEO free, with an anti-microbial additive. Weight: 10.9 lb per gallon.
